| Our little wooden skiff weathering the Juneau winter like a champ |
Like the Ra Wee Yin, this blog is needing some attention, especially now that nearly a month has
gone by since my last post. Terrible, I know (poor little wooden skiff blog). But I
really have missed this creative outlet so much that from now on I vow
to do two things:
1) Bring a laptop when I travel
2) Make sure it's a computer that I won't be (too) upset about losing in the event it gets lost/broken/stolen
Scotty and I strongly considered bringing a laptop on our last trip
over the Christmas and New Year's holidays, but ultimately decided against it since
we knew we would be on the road quite a bit. Now, a month later, I am realizing how much more difficult it is to jump back in to the groove after being gone. Not to mention, while getting back up to speed at my regular full-time office job.So, here's a quick recap of what we've been up to lately: a whirlwind road trip up to Annapolis to put a cover on our boat for the winter months, a very fun and cozy Christmas with family in Asheville and northern Georgia, and our latest adventure in the Dominican Republic over the New Year's holiday. No dull moments around here!
